In the vein of things that are not normal for me, today I made the headband above, but more importantly, I wrote out the pattern for it.
If you know any knitters that would be willing to try out the pattern to give me feedback, let me know.

Great headband. Would love to say I'd try the directions but I have no idea when. Send 'em anyway - you never know.
