Playing with modular knitting! So, I will make another of these to make a change purse, but the technique is cool.
This is the front. It's all knit without binding off or joining new yarn.
So, the inside, or back side of the piece. I tried to make it more interesting by changing the texture. All right, maybe nobody else likes it, but to me, this is cool stuff!
Update:
I made another side & figured that if I'm going to use it as a change purse, a zipper would be nice.
Lining also helps.

Looks pretty complex to me - and I think I like the back side at least as much as the front. It emphasizes the divisions more.
Yeah, the pattern I used and modified is for a hat, and if I was doing the hat I definitely would use what I was calling the back side here as the front.
