Attempt 1 at a chiffon dress
Still some kinks to work out, for the future attempts, but good enough to sell for cheap!

I'm sure there is an easier way and I will find it!
Just not today.

Hey girl! Looks good to me - I especially like the ruffly top. It fits with the swirls of the fabric. So the problem was what? Sewing on the chiffon? Is it not as neat as you hoped? I hate sewing on the stuff. Please tell me you had a machine do the edge of the ruffles; I'd hate to have to edge-hem that!

Well, the problems, because, there were several - one is more on design side, it is very difficult to get over the shoulders, I should have used a longer zipper. Problem 2, because of all the gathering, the ruffles up top are not hemmed because they are all one piece of fabric, the hem of the skirt is quite interesting. That actually isn't a bad thing, I think I wouldn't even change it. The problem was in gathering and sewing the top. Problem 3 was the hem. I don't have a roll hem foot and they don't really sell them anymore because, as the lady at the store said, "why don't you just use a serger?" so, there was lots of pinning until I get that from ordering it online!
