Today I made most of a sock. Not most of a pair of socks, just most of a sock. Really, just over half of a sock. Not even a knee sock, just a hiking sock. Yes, I know, it is my first unfinished product and I had actually toyed with the idea of taking Sundays off, but, it is also my first most of a sock that I have ever made, so I'm pretty excited.
Bear wanted to put things into perspective - this may be most of a sock, but it is also less of a ball of yarn and she would like to protest.
Maybe I should have started with a child's size sock and then I could have gotten one done today, maybe.

NOO- you shouldn't have started with a child's sock - this is great. Is it too fat for your foot though? And have you used a pattern to do it? I was always just totally confused when I tried to figure out the sock patterns. I never even tried one.

It took me a couple of times of reading the directions before I had an idea of how it would work. It is a bit big, but it's 85% wool so it can be felted down some. It'll be up to the momarazzi since it will be her pair of socks.
