This is the board that I made to be able to macrame a little easier, which was the goal for today.
So, this is the result. not so pretty, but considering that I haven't made anything like this in a while, it's not too bad. Ok, sure, a talented monkey may be able to be a little more even, but the circular knot-work is a little mesmerising and hypnotic when you're working on it.
So, here it is on. I don't really know what I think about it, but it's made.

Do you remember at all that when you were little I used to do macrame - plant hangers and tables all over the house, necklaces on cardboard pieces, purses just on my lap? I even made macrame window hangings with beads. NEVER made anything as nice or complicated as this though.
The Talented Monkey Union is going to have a few things to say about this, I wager....
Mom, yes, I do recall the macrame phase, I think that's when I learned to blow a bubble.
Ang, you are quite right, in fact, I have been contacted by TMU representative already
