I had finished the other of the previous pair this morning, and started on this yarn.
These are to go on etsy, so I've been writing down what I've done to make it easy to reproduce

Yesterday at the auction I made this:

Full, fuzzy fingerless gloves

Today, I made this

Very light summery top

Who knows, maybe by spring I'll figure it out

So, as I'm working on another project, I'm making Grinch feet for anyone
I think may use them!

These are more subdued, and are for JM, MM's sister

Sorry for the darkness of the pictures, didn't feel like messing with them.

For many reasons a need had developed in our household.
It starts with orthotic flip-flops, shoes custom molded to your feet, that make life much better if you have any tendency towards back tension.
These are great, when you don't need closed toe shoes.

Unfortunately, there comes a time, even in the desert (specifically in the shade or non-mid afternoon hours between November and March), where even the thought of having toes exposed can send a chill down your spine.

So, Tabi socks! They cover toes and still allow for the flip-flop to be worn.

While they're on order, these homemade ones will do fill in:

Fleece material

Carefully constructed to allow for a heel, because, otherwise you would have to walk on tip toe

In motion!

And Grinch feet are born

11-11-2008 (make a wish)

On the same thrift store trip that the camp chairs from yesterday were found, I found a very cool wood purse:

Which was made virtually useless by the fact that it had no lining and would also, therefore, fall all the way open when unlatched.

Ok, so make a lining, with a pocket, of course.
Heck, give the pocket a pocket even!

Then very, very carefully,
Hot Glue it to within an inch of it's life!!!!

11-10-2008

Recently we found some camp chairs at a thrift store.
One of them didn't have a back:

Well...it's simple enough to make the canvas back

So, I changed out the other, too, so they would match
