I told myself I was going to make a simple little tank top.

Just a few seams, that's all, I said.
Well, maybe a little embroidery that blends in, just for a bit of interest.
And why not buttons down the side so that it can be a bit fitted.

Yeah, simple.

Really need to look up the word simple.

On another note, I also made a discovery today that I must be at least a second generation pack rat, as one of the threads used today was from TG&Y.

So today is a macrame day.

For some reason, when I get worried, blah or generally need to get rid of energy without doing much of anything, macrame always comes to mind.

I guess there's something satisfying about tying things in knots.

This is the first thing, the pendant is a marble, of course. Why would it be anything else?
Getting all artsy with the photos!
The bracelet is because my watch battery finally died and I need to have something on that wrist or I'll keep checking for it constantly.

Today I decided that I needed to make a dent in my pile of unfinished projects.

This is a skirt that I had mainly finished, I just didn't know what to do about the top and closure.
So, there is the closure and banding on the top.
This is a reversible dress that i wasn't sure how I was going to work the back. I finally decided on the adjustable strap.
The front with the plain fabric as the primary.
The dress with the flowery fabric.

So I made some space in my closet!

T-shirt of joy!

so there's a fabric store going out of business & I bought some cotton knit. I don't usually work with cotton knit. I don't think I really ever have, but I loved these colors together & the stripes.

The colors are most realistic without the flash, but they aren't always in focus.
Long strap for easier carrying.
With the flash you can see more of the detail, but it isn't really that color in person. As you can see, it is lined. That way you can keep your change.
